The property at Manor Road shares the boundary line of the end of the garden with Abney Park. It makes the background to all views from the house made of majestuous trees. However, there are 3 shining slim birches in the garden that stand out in front of that folliage. The client wanted to build a garden room retaining them. 

The pavilion hugs you at the end of the garden and revolves around the birches. The interior of the outbuilding is shaped with the birches as the center and all made of the same material.
