Fitzroy Road

The property at Fitzroy Road is a three storey plus a semi-basement building which forms part of a row of six terraced houses dating to 1880’s, set amongst later Victorian terrace development. It is located within the Primrose Hill Conservation Area, to the West of the borough of Camden and is listed as a building which makes a positive contribution to the character and appearance of the Conservation Area.

We submitted two different planning applications in relation to the front and rear facade of the property. The aim was to reinstate all the original features of the building, in particular at the rear facade where most of the original windows had been altered.

At the rear we also proposed a small extension making use of a residual space to allocate a small shower room. An existing flat roof is also proposed to be a new terrace to enjoy the south facing aspect of the property.

Planning granted by Camden Council.
